with all the talk about the org's policies and failures regarding child sexual abuse being publically exposed in australia, i thought that it may be a good time to highlight this... i apologise if this has already been discussed, but on the 9th of july the independent inquiry into child sexual abuse in england and wales was opened.

Can you please explain exactly what that means?
What type of information could support your investigations?
Does this mean only personal experiences about whoever you are looking into at the time, or does it mean if someone knew of internal policies within an organisation that helped to facilitate the covering-up of child sexual abuse?
Please can you state clearly whether you are referring to just experiences we have had ourselves, or do you also want information about policies or procedures (when dealing with perpetrators of child sexual abuse) that can leave children open to further abuse, such as people remaining in a position of trust and responsibility within a religious organisation even after having admitted to abusing a child in the past?
Or perhaps a offender repeatedly sexually abusing children and yet not being reported to the authorities by overseers within a religious organisation that knew of their crimes?

We are not thinking folks. What is the best way to get JW's to check out the events in Australia.

tell our jw family members, door knockers, and stand sitters that you were very impressed.

by the branch overseer and other elders in australia, they gave a fine witness.. so what will happen, they will tell their friends the brothers in australia gave a fine.

Just to explain..

The words "Australian royal commission Jehovah's witnesses" won't even sound like it's about child abuse or scandals, and it's clearly not going to be anything apostate.. Because it isn't.

So it should gettheir interest, especially with the 'governing body' phrase to introduce the topic.

Plus you should be able to truthfully say you can't remember all their names, just leave the focus on the words 'Australian and royal commission .. And walk away from them.

If you mention his name , they might just search for that and it will limit the search results.

'Have you heard that one of the Governing Body is in court on Friday??

Who? Can't recall. I don't know all their names, do I?..

Seriously, just Google "Australian royal commission Jehovah's witnesses" if you don't believe me..'

"If you fill in the online form, you have taken the first step towards the Watchtowers failure to protect children, and their many cover-ups , being exposed publically.

It is even possible their representatives may be called to a public hearing (like with the Australian Royal Commission), if people come forward.

What does the above post mean?

We need to encourage anyone who was abused (whilst they were a JW especially) to contact the Inquiry.

What is the best way to put this (approximate) message out there? >>

Were you a Jehovah's Witness in England or Wales? Or did you or your family attend meetings, or associate with them?

If you experienced sexual abuse as a child and the elders did nothing about it, please contact the Independent Inquiry.

"We want to hear from:

..anyone who was sexually abused as a child in an institutional setting like a care home, a school or a religious, community or state organisation, or who first came into contact with their abuser in an institutional setting

..anyone who was sexually abused as a child, and reported their sexual abuse to a person in authority, like a police officer or teacher [or ELDERS], where the report was ignored or not properly acted on"

Yahweh's wonderful creation

when i thought of myself as a christian witness of yahweh attempting to be a footstep follower of jesus, psalm 104 was one of my favourites.

if i was ever in some wonderful scenic area, psalm 104 would jump into my mind, and i'd start to praise yahweh and jesus.. but if something horrible came to mind as in the following video, i'd always think of the favourite christian escape clause, it's all because of adam's sin.

but any connection between natural animal savagery and adam's sin is never logically made in the bible.. interestingly, the supposedly inspired psalm 104 (nwt-the grey one i guess) itself says that:.

But Perry may not get the sarcasm ;)

He still hasn't responded to my post regarding the ancient predators that existed millions of years ago. That was not addressed in the link he posted.

Or why God remembering the animals in the ark was used as an indication that he cares about animals. (After the premeditated mass murder known as the Flood).

Has the Royal Commission website removed Geoffery Jackson from schedule?

earlier this morning the royal commission website stated:.

"the royal commissions public hearing into the jehovahs witnesses will recommence in sydney on friday 14 august 2015 at 11:00am.. it is anticipated that the hearing will hear from one witness, mr geoffrey jackson, a member of the governing body of jehovahs witnesses.

"now that has been changed.

That's just a different page than the one posted earlier, with less details.

No need to panic!

Geoffrey Jackson would make Jehovah's organisation look very bad if he runs away, and the ARC will accept no excuses..
